Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a well-established supplier of truck mounted cranes and other equipment looking to on-board a new Junior Applications Engineer, within their Manchester office, to provide technical support during the pre-sales and post-sales phases. Responsibilities
Supporting clients and internal sales teams during the pre-sales phase to define the best products/solutions based on client needs
Providing technical support to internal sales teams, customers, product managers and product specialists
Working with R&D engineering teams to promote continuous product improvement and yearly model upgrades
Defining and executing training for trainers, product managers and customers Requirements
The company prefer an individual with experience within the Specialist Commercial Vehicles industry. However, this isn’t essential, they would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in commercial vehicles or automotive. Another option the company would consider would be a recently qualified engineer looking to get into something long term and building a career. In terms of location, you will ideally be based within commutable distance Manchester.
