We are looking for a Fully Skilled Assembler to work in a busy manufacturing environment at our Basildon site

Salary 💷 £18.59 per hour

Working Hours

* Monday – Thursday: 7.00am – 16.00pm

* Friday: 7.30am – 12.30pm

Purpose of role and key accountabilities:

To carry out assembly of aircraft components to customer defined specification and standard.

Core skills/attributes needed:

* Ability to work on assembly of new parts with solid rivets using hand & air riveting tools & other equipment for the purpose required.

* Visual inspection of completed products

* Full knowledge and experience of using Vernier’s and other specialist measuring tools Experience of working to adjust sheet metal parts for assembly

* Current experience of the use of air tools i.e. drills / rivet press / rivet guns

* Experience of using sealants

* Engineering background ideally in aerospace industry

* Experience of reading, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

* Experience of working with a number of different materials and finishes

* Attention to detail

* Problem solving skills

* Utilising a range of hand tools

* Finish precision engineering products

* Maintenance of health and safety/housekeeping standards within the team to required standard
