About the opportunity:
Due to company expansion and a healthy pipeline of work secured, our client is recruiting permanently for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based at their office in Peterborough. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work on multi utility projects and will be involved in client meetings as well as ensuring each project is profitable for the company. You will be reporting to the Commercial Manager who will mentor, coach, and help develop your ability. You will be involved in viewing and evaluating payments, including site measurements as necessary, and will undertake general surveying of projects as required, including reviewing and pricing of variations and preparing valuations with Project Managers and the Commercial Manager.
About the benefits and rewards:
For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £38,000 to £42,000 per annum; however, there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on previous experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered.

About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Additionally, you must have experience working within the utilities UK market and have strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
Lastly, due to the office and project locations, you must reside within a commutable distance from Peterborough.
