We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing team operating in and around Reading. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in installation, maintenance, and servicing of VRF and split air conditioning systems across commercial and/or residential sites.
Responsibilities
* Installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning systems
* Working with VRF/VRV systems and split/multi-split systems
* Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety regulations
* Completing job reports and documentation accurately
* Providing excellent customer service on-site
Requirements
* FGas Certification (Category 1) – mandatory
* IPAF (Powered Access Licence) – required
* CSCS Card (valid)
* Eligible to work under CIS scheme
Experience
* Proven experience working on VRF/VRV systems
* Strong background with split and multi-split systems
* Experience in commercial environments preferred
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills & Attributes
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and customer-facing ability
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
* Experience with major manufacturers (e.g. Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu)
* Additional HVAC qualifications
