Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Newcastle
Pay: £90–£120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Sports Coach to support students through active, structured, and engaging sessions in Newcastle. We are seeking a confident individual who can use sport, teamwork, and positive routines to help students stay motivated and involved throughout the day.
The Sports Coach role provides an excellent opportunity to transfer coaching skills into an educational setting while making a positive impact on students' growth and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
* Lead sports-based activities that encourage teamwork, participation, and enjoyment
* Use coaching techniques to motivate and engage students throughout the day
* Support students in developing confidence, communication, and leadership skills
* Encourage positive behaviour through structured and engaging activities
* Assist staff in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Act as a positive role model for students both in and outside classroom activities
Sports Coach Requirements:
* Experience in sports coaching, fitness instruction, or related activities
* Ability to engage and motivate young people from different backgrounds
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to working with students
* Passion for promoting physical activity and personal development
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
