Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner – NTT
Job Summary: Northumberland Talking Therapies has an exciting opportunity to recruit a qualified PWP holding accreditation with either the BABCP or BPS. The role aims to deliver low intensity service provision to residents from the Northumberland area. Minimum of 22.5 hours or full-time. Hybrid position with home working options.
Responsibilities
* Undertake triage assessments
* Provide low intensity interventions through guided self‑help and computerised CBT – telephone, video, face‑to‑face appointments
* Facilitate step 2 psycho‑educational online groups
* Contribute to service improvement projects (perinatal, long‑term health, young people)
* Mentor trainee PWPs
* Attend regular line and clinical supervision
* Collaborate with other PWPs, utilising skills and knowledge
* Attend CPD events
Qualifications
* Completed a PWP training course (PG Cert Low Intensity Psychological Therapies or equivalent)
* Accreditation with BABCP or BPS
* Experience working with people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression
Requirements
* Academic course in line with the Low Intensity National Programme
* Evidence of service‑use, written communication and report writing
* Computer literate, excellent verbal and written communication
* Ability to build therapeutic relationships and work under pressure
