Interim Deputy Headteacher to start ASAP, leading on additional support in a small SEND setting. This role focuses on raising standards, embedding effective practices, and ensuring every pupil receives an exceptional education during a period of transition.

What you’ll be doing
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
* Lead on curriculum development and robust assessment systems.
* Oversee quality assurance processes, including lesson observations, data analysis, and staff development plans.
* Support the Headteacher in strategic planning, safeguarding, and operational management.
* Provide guidance and coaching to staff, fostering professional growth and accountability.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted, statutory frameworks, and best practice in SEND provision.
What we’re looking for
* Quality assurance, teaching and learning, and assessment expertise.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial senior leadership experience.
* A proven track record in school improvement and raising standards of teaching and learning.
* Expertise in assessment frameworks and data-driven decision making.
* Strong understanding of SEND, behaviour management, and inclusive education.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
* Ability to adapt quickly and deliver results in an interim capacity.
