A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Care Assistant to work in an exceptional care home based in the Accrington, Lancashire area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers. A care home located in the heart of Accrington offers a warm and welcoming environment where residents can live life to the fullest. Care is tailored to meet individual needs, whether for residential, dementia, or respite care.
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Responsibilities
* You will be tasked with managing the care team within the Home
* Ensuring that care staff are adhering to CQC guidelines whilst providing exceptional levels of care to residents
* Promote and deliver high standards of care and supervise
* Instruct less experienced staff to enable them to fully contribute to the care provided within the Home
Skills and Experience (Preferred)
* Excellent communication and written skills
* Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
* Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
* Team player but able to work on your own initiative
* Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
* Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly
Benefits
The successful Senior Care Assistant will receive a salary of GBP14.00 per hour and an annual salary up to GBP32,032 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role up to 44 hours a week on nights. The following benefits are provided:
