Shift patterns: 40 hours per week, Any 5 from 7 rotational 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm

We’re DHL Supply Chain, the world’s leading logistics company. We are looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring health and safety compliance and the achievement of key performance targets in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities
* Directly assist the Senior Management team by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
* Supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while maintaining standards of excellence
* Track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring records are maintained at optimum level
* Oversee the kitting and goods-out department to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner to customer specification
* Conduct 1-2-1s, return-to-work and development planning for members of staff
This role would suit people who
* Previous experience of people management within a warehouse or supply chain environment is essential
* Strong communicator - both written and verbal
* Good IT experience - using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
