Job Description:
We are supporting a high-end luxury property and travel company based in London that is looking to hire a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (3 or 4 days per week) to support continued business growth.
The company is multifaceted in its operations, servicing high net-worth individuals in property and leisure offerings. The successful candidate will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain robust financial controls. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely on designated days.
The key aspects of the role include:
Core Financial Operations:
* Bookkeeping: Manage aged payables and receivables, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
* Payroll: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to all employees.
* Cash book to trial balance.
* Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and estate agency rules.
Strategic support:
* Support business growth through improved budgeting and forecasting processes.
The ideal candidate:
* Demonstrable experience working in an SME.
* Experience in running a month-end process and producing management reports.
* Experience in the property or leisure industry is desirable.
This role is a sole-charge position, reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with external candidates.
