Role: Sous Chef with Michelin Experience
Location: Marlow, Berkshire
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, 45-48 hours
We’re seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Sous Chef to join one of the UK’s most respected Michelin-starred kitchens, known for exceptional standards, creativity, and consistency. Based in Marlow, this is a rare opportunity to be part of a team operating at the highest level of culinary excellence.
This role is ideal for a passionate and technically strong chef who thrives in high-performance environments and is ready to step up and support the Head Chef in leading a world-class kitchen operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations alongside the Head Chef, ensuring seamless service
* Maintain meticulous standards of prep, execution, and organisation across every section
* Contribute to ongoing menu development with creative, seasonal, and ingredient-led ideas
* Lead and support junior chefs with a calm, structured, and hands-on leadership style
* Ensure all hygiene, health and safety, and kitchen management systems are upheld
* Uphold the kitchen’s culinary philosophy and commitment to quality and precision
About You
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a Michelin-starred or multi-rosette kitchen
* Excellent technical skills, classical training, and a deep respect for produce and provenance
* A calm and composed leader with a strong presence during high-pressure services
* Naturally collaborative with a passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of chefs
* Highly organised, solutions-focused, and committed to maintaining excellence across the board
