About The Role
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in a specific area such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and help create an environment that is warm, welcoming and vibrant.
About You
You should hold an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for people who are warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training; many of our Senior Care Assistants progress into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
Rewards Package
Competitive pay and true flexibility are offered as this is a bank position covering annual leave or sick leave, so your hours and days will vary. The role also provides free learning and development opportunities and is part of one of the UK's leading healthcare providers who take growth seriously.
