Civil / Structural Engineers - all levels
12‑Month contract; remote with trips to client sites and occasional visits to Clients Glasgow office. Successful candidates must achieve and maintain a Security Check (SC) security clearance, including being a UK national. Minimum 12‑month contract hire / hybrid.
Overview
The Civil/Structural team specialises in solving the most complex and technically demanding structural engineering problems. You will be joining a 140‑strong UK team, working on projects that typically involve dynamic load effects from extreme hazards such as seismic, blast, and impact. Starting from first principles, the team researches methodologies, challenges assumptions, and constantly learns. We work to the highest standards; all analysis models are rigorously validated and must be fully evidenced and justified through independent third‑party review and ultimately to the nuclear safety regulators. Our multimillion‑pound long‑term infrastructure improvement projects include reinforced concrete, plated steel, maritime structures, and specialised facilities for submarines, designed from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and London—which can be your hybrid base office.
