An opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor, ideally with between three and five years’ PQE, to join a respected and well-established Family team based in Southampton. The position offers the chance to work closely with a Partner known for their expertise in high-value matrimonial finance and complex private children matters.
The team advises on a wide range of family law issues, from divorce and separation to financial settlements involving business interests, trusts, and international assets, as well as pre- and post-nuptial agreements and children matters. The quality and sensitivity of the work requires a Lawyer with excellent technical ability, sound judgement, and a high standard of client care.
You’ll initially support the Partner with their caseload, gradually building your own portfolio of matters as your confidence and client base grows. The role will also involve contributing to the team’s wider business development initiatives, so a commercial mindset and enthusiasm for developing client relationships will be highly valued.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor who combines strong technical ability with empathy, creativity, and clear communication skills. You should be highly organised, proactive, and capable of balancing detail with a broader strategic view of each client’s objectives.
