The role
RG Consultancy are working with an excellent manufacturing company, based at Trafford Park who are looking for a Credit Controller to join the finance team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be joining a small finance team. Role Overview You'll be responsible for managing the full credit control function, ensuring customer accounts are paid on time and maintaining strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Chasing outstanding payments and unpaid invoices Following up on remittances and debit notes Handling customer queries and resolving account issues Cash allocation and posting payments to ledgers Taking card payments and allocating receipts Opening new customer accounts Running credit reports Monitoring customer creditworthiness Liaising with credit insurers Producing aged debt reports Raising invoices and credit notes when required Skills & Experience Required Essential Previous credit control and/or administration experience Cash allocation experience Ability to work efficiently and independently Desirable Understanding of credit insurance processes Benefits Competitive salary depending on experience 25 days holiday bank holidays additional holiday incentives Monday - Friday - some flexibility with start and finish times Early finish on Fridays Free parking Company standard pension scheme
