Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives on supporting managers, resolving complex people matters, and improving the employee experience? We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable People Manager to join a manufacturing business playing a key role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.
In this role, you'll provide expert support across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, coaching managers, and enhancing people processes. You’ll work closely with the Head of People and wider team to drive continuous improvement, ensure legal compliance, and build effective, people-focused HR practices.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide timely, expert advice on disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and conflict matters
2. Coach managers to confidently handle people issues and apply HR policies consistently
3. Track absence trends and support strategies to improve attendance
4. Review, update, and implement HR policies in line with legislation and best practice
5. Support policy rollouts and ensure clear communication
6. Partner with leaders to forecast workforce needs, advising on resourcing priorities and talent attraction strategies
