 
        Who You Are You are a fully qualified and accredited social work professional with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You are responsible, reliable, and able to manage complex tasks with empathy and care. Candidates for Grade J should have basic experience in a social care setting, while those seeking Grade K must have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, including experience in dealing with complex cases and judicial processes. You are committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. What the job involves The role involves holding and managing a caseload, including Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children. You will undertake assessments, formulate, monitor, and manage care plans, and work with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes for children. Tasks include liaising with other professionals, participating in planning processes, providing support and guidance to families, giving evidence in court, and promoting the involvement of children, young people, and their families in decision-making. You will work both independently and collaboratively, maintain accurate records, and provide supervision to Social Work students if required.
