Social Worker required for work within the child protection team in the beautiful council of North Somerset, Located between the vibrant cities of Bristol and the stunning Somerset countryside, North Somerset offers the perfect balance between work and lifestyle. Competitive rates of pay with a basic rate of up to £38ph with much higher rates for unsocial hours. 37 hours per week. 3 month minimum contract with options to extend.
We are looking for an experienced social worker who has an all round knowledge of child protection. 37 hrs per week, £38.00 per hour LTD rate, minimum of 2 days in the office, negotiable with manager on which days. There is a high expectation to pick up work and to hit the ground running. The Service is on an improvement journey and we need experienced, confident and competent workers to work with us to get to outstanding.

The successful candidate will thrive on creative thinking and problem solving and enjoy working autonomously. You will possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to identify risk and prioritise accordingly whilst remaining calm and know when to escalate concerns to your team leader.
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
