We are working with a leading manufacturer in the Beccles area who are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Officer to join their team. Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include:
* Supporting the EHS Manager and deputising in their absence
* Conducting environmental monitoring, inspections, and audits
* Maintaining company risk assessments, safe systems of work, and COSHH compliance
* Preparing KPI and monthly performance reports
* Assisting with accident and incident investigations
* Delivering health, safety, and environmental training across the business
* Supporting departments in raising standards of training documentation
* Advising staff and contractors on compliance and best practice
About you / Qualifications
* NEBOSH Health and Safety and Environmental Certificate (or IOSH equivalent)
* Experience in a Health and Safety role, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
* Good knowledge of risk assessments, COSHH, and relevant HSE legislation
* Strong communication and presentation skills - able to engage with all levels of the business
* Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage changing priorities
* Confident with Microsoft Office and documentation control
