Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision and attention to detail. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment. The Assembler will utilise both hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
Duties
* Assemble components and products according to specifications and drawings.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
* Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
* Report any issues or defects in materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in assembly or a similar role is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
* Experience working in a production environment is advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
Hours and Pay:
* Starting at 12.78 per hour, rising to 13.17 after 12 weeks.
* Daily bonus scheme.
* Overtime available.
* Day shifts.
