Wibble are a better-for-you challenger brand here to disrupt the desserts category in Foodservice and Retail.

Laura, our founder, has been a loyal jelly lover all her life. Less than impressed with the current lack of offerings available, she decided it was time to jump into the kitchen and invent her own wobbly fun and Wibble was born! We are giving nostalgic desserts a make-over and bringing back the fun. Wibble desserts are LOW IN CALORIES, REDUCED SUGAR and 100% NATURAL.

We are a rapidly growing start-up with national listings in Tesco, Sainsburys, Holland & Barrett, Ocado and Waitrose. We’re experiencing aggressive growth and are disrupting the ambient desserts market with healthier options. We are proudly the first challenger jelly brand ever in Tesco!

We supply 1000’s of schools through listings with Compass Group, Brakes, Bidfood and a host of other distributors. We’re also beginning to enter international markets, so this is a really exciting time to be joining! Wibble is shaking up a category that has lacked innovation since…well FOREVER! We were the first low sugar jelly crystals available on the foodservice market.


The Role


We are looking for a smart, ambitious and energetic Sales Manager who can be out and about, building relationships with our wonderful existing and prospective Foodservice customers. You will be joining our sales team to work with the Head of Sales and the Founder to be responsible for driving growth through existing customers and hunting down new business. This role would suit someone who likes being busy, with great people skills and commercial acumen who is as happy on a show stand yapping to customers as they are pitching to a contract caterer for a menu change.

The role is home based with the majority of time spent zooming about on-site visits, attending trade shows, sales pitches and going wherever the famous ‘Wibble energy’ is needed! You will also need to travel to the head office from time to time in London.


We’re offering the chance to be involved at the early stages of an FMCG rocket ship and make a real impact.


Responsibilities:


* Account management: supporting and engaging customers, selling in NPD, onboarding, checking in.
* Relationship management: customer visits, trouble shooting, strong communication.
* Problem solving: things change rapidly in a startup, we need to think outside the box and move quickly to get results.
* Knocking down doors (New business development): some of our biggest wins have been found behind several ‘closed doors’. We want someone who isn’t afraid to go after the big prizes, find the right contacts and get the deal over the line.


Qualifications:


* We don’t care if you have a degree or not! It’s important to us that you can demonstrate good people skills, commercial acumen and a willingness to crack on.
* We’d love it if you had a couple of years of FMCG experience in a sales role - we might learn something from you!
* Would be very useful if you already had your driving licence and own car – there will be a significant amount of travelling involved.
