What Youll Be Doing Supervising distribution operations on a rotating shift pattern, including day and afternoon shifts (05:30-15:00 and 12:30-22:00 Leading daily briefings, reviews, and toolbox talks to align teams and ensure clear communication. Coordinating with the weighbridge and production teams to meet dispatch demands efficiently. Ensuring roadways and stockpiles are maintained safely and comply with geotechnical and environmental standards. Managing the allocation and maintenance of mobile equipment in collaboration with the HME Chargehand. Supporting operator compliance through checks and coaching (e.g., Jaama inspections). Leading incident investigations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Maintaining housekeeping standards and ensuring dust suppression practices are in place. Ensuring all systems, records, and reporting (including quality and stockpile inspections) are completed to standard. Working Saturday mornings as part of a site rota (1 in 6) What Youll Bring Strong leadership skills and experience supervising operational or logistics teams. Solid understanding of health and safety standards in a heavy industrial or quarrying environment. Have an IOSH qualification or equivalent. Organised, proactive, and confident in coordinating people, plant, and priorities. Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-shift operations. Familiarity with stockpile safety, mobile plant use, and quality standards. A positive, team-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
