Working within a technical project management environment, you will act as a key interface between customers and internal departments, ensuring technical requirements are understood and delivered effectively.You will evaluate customer requirements, develop robust engineering solutions and support projects throughout the full development lifecycle, from concept through validation and implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver robust engineering designs that meet customer requirements and project objectivesConduct technical gap analysis for new projects and customer requestsSupport customers through the design process by providing technical guidance and engineering expertiseCarry out project evaluations using CAD design, engineering calculations, prototype testing and validation activitiesDevelop and coordinate solutions across Design, Development, Validation and Manufacturing Engineering teamsAct as a key technical interface between customers and internal stakeholdersSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and ensure successful implementation into manufacturingManage engineering changes and coordinate implementation activitiesPrepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and senior managementEnsure compliance with company standards and IATF/TS16949 requirementsTravel to customer sites within the UK and internationally as requiredWhat We're Looking ForDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering disciplinePrevious experience within an Applications Engineering roleAutomotive industry experience is preferred, particularly within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier environmentExperience managing engineering projects and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activitiesStrong 3D and 2D CAD design experience, ideally using Creo (Pro Engineer)Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilityAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyCustomer-focused approach with the confidence to present technical information at all levelsWhy Join DENSO?At DENSO Marston, you'll be joining a business renowned for engineering excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
