An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse Band 5 to join our Nursing and Care Team.

As part of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and be part of a Multidisciplinary Team providing a high quality of service supporting children and young people who have severe brain injuries requiring complex neuro-disability management including long term invasive and non-invasive ventilation, tracheostomy management, severe/complex epilepsy, and disorders of consciousness.
The role is open to nurses who hold NMC registration or student nurses who are due to receive their NMC pin next year.
Role Requirements
* Adheres to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics for Nurses and Midwives at all times.
* Maintains clear and identified professional boundaries at all times.
* Creates environments which empower children and families to be fully involved in their care.
* Undertakes assessment, care planning and evaluation of children’s care needs collaboratively with families, taking action to address any issues or complications.
* Ensures individualised high-quality care is delivered at all times, that is underpinned by evidence-based practice and guidance.
* Works in accordance with The Children’s Trust policies and operating procedures.
