What Will You Be Doing?
As a Dealership Accountant with Pentagon Motor Group, your main role and responsibilities will include;
15. Consolidating and analysing weekly business unit forecasts and trends.
16. Ensuring the accuracy of financial information reported to head office within company deadlines.
17. Providing robust management information and analysis to support the month end results.
18. Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
19. Assisting with the preparation of the annual financial business plan.
20. Managing a team of Accounts & Administration team members
21. Advising General/Senior Managers on the fiscal policies of Pentagon Motor Group and ensure adherence to them.
The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday - 6 hours per day. To be discussed on interview .
Who Are We Looking for?
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Accountant with a proven, successful track record in delivering excellence. This position requires the successful person to be hands on and task focused to ensure an accurate and timely monthly accounting cycle for the Dealership.
Ideal candidates will also be:
22. Qualified to Level 2 or above in AAT or equivalent.
23. Experienced in all aspects of Accounting including working on and finalising annual budgets, completing year-end audits, month end accounting, processing payroll information etc.
24. A strong and effective communicator both written and verbally
25. Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
26. A natural problem solver with the ability to review their own work and identify and correct mistakes.
27. Motivational and able to support and guide their team.
28. Proficient in Excel and Outlook
Previous experience using Kerridge and working within the Motor Trade would be a distinct advantage for this role.
