Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating exceptional leadership and supervisory skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while managing the front-of-house team effectively.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff in the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
* Oversee food preparation and presentation, maintaining quality control in line with our culinary standards.
* Manage inventory levels, including food production supplies and bar stock, to ensure efficient operations.
* Train, mentor, and develop team members in hospitality best practices, fostering a positive work environment.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring resolutions are achieved promptly.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service delivery and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and improve overall service quality.
* Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary standards.
* Experience in bartending and managing bar operations is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
* Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
