Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production, with a flair for creativity in food preparation and presentation. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, while leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating expertise in various cooking techniques.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Manage food production processes, including inventory control and menu planning.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Continuously innovate menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
* A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
