Overview
This full-time, permanent Design Technology Teacher role is about more than just following a curriculum. It's about fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. You'll be working with students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5), guiding them through a range of DT specialisms. The specific specialisms needed will depend on the school's current resources and curriculum, but could include:
* Resistant Materials
* Graphics
* Product Design

Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons.
* Create a safe and inspiring workshop environment.
* Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Design Technology curriculum.
* Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive and forward-thinking department.
* The role includes delivering Design Technology education that aligns with school standards and expectations.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A degree in Design Technology or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level.
* Strong practical skills and a passion for making.
* Excellent classroom management and organizational abilities.
