Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Risk Manager to undertake duties within our Project Controls team. The Risk Manager will work as part of our Project Controls team on high‑profile construction projects throughout the UK and Europe, providing performance reporting and analysis support. This may be part of a large team or act as the key day‑to‑day contact point with the client.
Responsibilities
* Work with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines.
* Establish progress and cost monitoring methods.
* Produce project control reports.
* Provide performance analysis and recommendations to clients.
* Define and deliver the risk scope.
* Engage with client teams for contributions.
* Carry out and demonstrate the benefits of QSRA and QCRA exercises.
* Support the client in raising the profile of project risk management.
* Lead continuous risk‑management improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Experience in at least one of: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls, and/or PMO.
* Degree educated with relevant industry and sector experience.
* Experience with tools such as Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Excel, and PRISM (Cost Management System).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a rigorous adherence to documented processes and governance, and the ability to innovate creatively to address changing project environments.
