The Opportunity
This is a growth-focused Partner Manager role designed for a commercially driven payments professional who thrives on building relationships and closing complex, high-value deals.
You’ll own the partner channel end-to-end—sourcing and developing new partnerships, nurturing existing relationships, and converting opportunities through a strategic, consultative sales process. Success comes from your ability to manage long sales cycles, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver compliant, tailored payment solutions into high-risk and regulated environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Take full ownership of revenue generation through the partner channel, consistently achieving and exceeding targets
* Identify, prospect and onboard new partners using social selling, outbound outreach, email campaigns and industry events
* Run discovery meetings and solution demonstrations with partners and merchants
* Build long-term relationships through regular partner reviews and strategic account management
* Design and deliver bespoke payment solutions aligned to merchant and acquiring requirements
* Create compelling commercial proposals and lead negotiations through to close
* Manage complex sales cycles from initial discovery to signed agreement
* Stay up to date on acquiring models, payment technologies and industry trends
* Develop deep knowledge of the verticals you support to position solutions with confidence
* Leverage existing and new networks to accelerate market penetration and revenue growth
About You
* A proven sales performer with 2+ years’ experience in a Partner Manager or similar role
* Background within a PSP, acquirer, ISO or payment facilitator environment
* Strong commercial instincts with the ability to uncover value and articulate ROI
* Confident selling consultative, solution-based propositions rather than commoditised products
* Ambitious, self-motivated and motivated by growth and earning potential
* Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
* Additional languages are advantageous but not essential
