The Role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a key role in winning and delivering high‑value engineering projects across the marine, offshore and liquefied gas sectors. Supporting major international shipyards and global customers, your work will help reduce the environmental impact of marine liquefied gas systems while contributing to long‑term energy resilience.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate project engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams
* Manage and control project scope, schedule, documentation and progress reporting
* Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, vendor data and deliverables
* Engage with suppliers, including technical reviews, expediting and issue resolution
* Support project governance, risk management and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
This is a full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week, based at our Rosyth, Fife site. Hybrid working patterns are available, with at least two days on site. Frequent opportunity to travel internationally.
Essential Experience
* Experience supporting engineering or technical projects in an industrial environment
* Experience coordinating activities across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
* Experience preparing, reviewing and progressing technical documentation
* Experience applying project management and risk processes
* Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
* Experience within marine, offshore, process or industrial engineering environments (Desirable)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
