We are seeking a Personal Assistant / Carer to complete our team of 3 carers providing exceptional care to a young man. You will help support him with various care needs, ensuring his well-being and comfort in the family home.
He has:
* A cheeky sense of humour
* Non verbal but does let you know what he does and doesn't want
* He has autism and well controlled epilepsy.
* He enjoys going out for walks and other activities
Duties:
* Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
* Engage in social activities and community outings
* Administer medication
* Minimal paperwork
* Work with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* Experience in home care or similar caregiving roles
* Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs
* Valid driver's license is a plus but not essential
Joining our team offers:
* Competitive hourly rate
* A set 3 week rota, working 1 full weekend every 3 weeks
* Hours are 6 hour shifts, 8am - 2pm and 2pm - 8pm
* Opportunity for additional hours to cover holiday and absences
* Immediate start date available
