Saltire Facilities Management is looking for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This role will see you supporting the successful delivery of projects by managing costs, valuations, contracts, and financial reporting across a range of maintenance and facilities management contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, valuations, and forecasts.
* Monitor project costs, variations, and profitability.
* Manage subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
* Prepare and submit payment applications and supporting documentation.
* Administer contracts and ensure compliance.
* Produce weekly and monthly commercial reports.
* Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
* Liaise with clients, operational teams, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
About You
* A bachelor’s in quantity surveying or previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
* Strong understanding of cost control, valuations, and contract administration.
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience within facilities management, construction, social housing, or property maintenance is advantageous but not essential.
