About the Role
As hx’s first Growth Automation Engineer, you’ll design and build the systems that power how we attract, convert, and grow customers. Working at the intersection of data, AI, and revenue operations, you will architect intelligent workflows that automate manual processes, surface insights in real time, and personalize every customer interaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Design and implement AI‑powered automation across the full customer journey, from onboarding to expansion, to improve conversion and engagement.
* Build a seamless data and automation infrastructure connecting our CRM, marketing automation, and sales systems so customer data flows instantly and accurately.
* Create intelligent lead and account workflows that increase speed to response, improve handovers, and strengthen pipeline quality.
* Deploy personalization engines that tailor content and experiences across web, email, and in‑product channels.
* Automate reporting and forecasting to give Sales and Growth teams real‑time visibility into performance and opportunities.
* Continuously evaluate and implement new AI or automation tools that enhance scalability and customer experience.
What You’ll Need To Have Done
* Built and scaled production‑grade automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Make, with measurable uptime, adoption, and maintainability.
* Developed AI or LLM‑powered processes that automated repetitive operational tasks and delivered tangible impact, whether through time savings, cost reduction, or measurable quality improvements.
* Delivered dashboards and reporting solutions that enhanced data accuracy, visibility, and decision‑making efficiency across teams.
* Piloted and implemented new automation or AI tools, successfully transitioning a high proportion from proof‑of‑concept into live production use.
* Partnered with cross‑functional teams—Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal—to design and deliver automated systems that streamlined operations, reduced manual effort, and improved data consistency across the business.
