Fire & Security Service Engineer
Location: Rochdale (covering Greater Manchester)
Salary: £37,500 per annum

Our client, a well-established electrical contractor based in Rochdale, is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and conscientious engineer looking to work for a company where they are valued as an individual rather than just another number.
Fire & Security Service Engineer Role
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and small works across a range of fire and security systems, with the majority of work located across Greater Manchester.
The role also includes participation in the on-call rota (currently 1 week in 4) with additional standby and call-out payments.
Fire & Security Service Engineer Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire and security systems
Service, diagnose faults, and repair fire alarms and security systems
Complete minor installations and remedial works where required
Ensure work is completed to industry standards and company procedures
Provide a professional and reliable service to clients while on site
Fire & Security Service Engineer Systems Experience
Experience with some of the following systems would be advantageous:
Protec, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Galaxy, Texecom, Orisec, PAC, Paxton, Videx, ConceptPro, HikVision.
Fire & Security Service Engineer Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ checkable experience within the fire and security industry
Relevant industry qualifications appropriate to the role
Full clean UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Package
£37,500 basic salary
20 days annual leave plus public holidays
On-call rota (1 in 4) with standby and call-out payments
Company van, phone, laptop, specialist tools and equipment provided
Work primarily across Greater Manchester
