About the role
The National Account Manager will ensure the achievement of volume and profitability targets for assigned accounts. You will represent account-specific requirements, manage these in line with the Commercial Plan, and incorporate sector dynamics into planning and forecasting.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Customer Management: Develop and maintain strategic contact with customers at multiple levels.
2. Upselling: Identify and capitalize on all sales opportunities relevant to the customer and channel.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage strong relationships with key customers.
4. Joint Business Planning: Take full accountability from planning to execution.
5. Commercial Acumen: Contribute to the Commercial Plan, monitor channel volume and profitability, and promote sustainable growth.
6. Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with finance colleagues to improve cash flow.
7. Market & Consumer Insights: Communicate trends within the channel to internal teams.
8. Delivery: Set and achieve objectives aligned with organizational goals.
9. Project Management: Lead and support projects as needed.
10. P&L Management: Understand customer P&L and key growth levers.
11. Team Management: Oversee employee activities if managing a team.
What you’ll bring:
1. 3+ years of commercial sales or buying experience with a proven track record.

Physical and Other Requirements:
