Mental Health Support Worker Location: South Shields, NE33 2QU Hours: 18 per week £12.21 per hour Make a Real Difference in Mental Health Support Are you passionate about supporting people with mental health challenges and learning disabilities? We’re seeking a experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in South Shields, where you will play a key role in providing compassionate support. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, dedicated team, offering flexibility while making a significant impact on peoples lives. Working in this role you would need to be resilient, have an open mind, and have a non-judgmental approach, so this would appeal to people who share a real interest in Mental Health The Role Providing support to a gentleman within his own home, duties will include Tending to all aspects of daily living, including personal care Domestic Household Support (cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the home) Support with budgeting and finances Social Support, helping to engage in community and social activities Family Support, assisting families in maintaining relationships Medication Support Liaison with Health Professionals and Social Care Professionals to ensure holistic care In-house and out-of-house activities, including assisting with outings and interes Various shift patterns including days, evenings, nights, weekends and sleep overs. Day shift 8am - 9pm What We’re Looking For We are looking for individuals who are not only experienced but also share a genuine interest in mental health and learning disabilities.
