We are actively recruiting for an experienced MIG welder required for an ongoing position in Littlehampton. This is for our well-established client who has specialised in the automotive industry supporting well-known brands internationally. It is important that all work is carried out to a high level, including neat and tidy welding throughout. MIG welder duties include: Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assembly Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately Carry out fabrication and assembly tasks as required Training welding apprentices and mentoring recruits. Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools Liaising with the line manager or supervisor, reporting any issuesRequirements: Previous MIG welding experience essential High attention to detail Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsHours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm Pay: £13.00 to £16.00 per hour depending on experience Please contact Demi or Jordan from The Best Connection for more information...
