The Role
The Registered Nurse - Community
Consistent with ongoing experience, the role strengthens health outcomes through safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals within the defined community practice area.
You will need
* Current knowledge of, and the ability to apply nursing principles, procedures, and practices in the delivery of patient/client care in a designated practice area and in line with legal requirements and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (ANMB) National Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse.
* Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills and the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Knowledge of continuous quality improvement (safety and quality) and the application of evidence-based practice in the practice setting.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, full time, day worker, up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.
Note: hours negotiable with the successful applicant. For a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455 - $105,995 is subject to progression.
In addition, the following allowances may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.

Eligibility
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
