Financial Reporting Manager
12 Month FTC
Bristol City Centre
Hybrid. 1-2 days in the office.
We're looking for an experienced finance leader to manage a high-performing team delivering accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting. You'll provide insights, ensure compliance, and report to senior stakeholders including the Board, Audit Committee, and regulators.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, develop, and manage the reporting team, driving performance and engagement
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory reporting
* Ensure compliance with IFRS 4, HGB, UK GAAP, and Solvency UK/II requirements
* Deliver analysis of results against plan and forecast, addressing key queries
* Maintain strong risk management and control frameworks
* Respond to regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance
* Build effective relationships across Finance, Actuarial, and external stakeholders
* Support capital modelling and related reporting
About You
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience
* Background in financial services, ideally insurance.
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory and accounting frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Proactive, detail-focused, and confident challenging the status quo
