The Role
Optima are looking for a skilled CNC Miller Machinist/ Programmer to join our Precision Manufacturing client based in Portsmouth. The CNC Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, maintaining equipment and supplies for a highly reputable company.
The Candidate
* Experience in 5 axis experience.
* Experience in Heidenhain control.
* Programming not essential however would be preferred, (Hypermill)
* The candidate must be self-motivated and driven.
* Must have high attention to detail.
* Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment.
* Good communication skills are also essential.
