An exciting opportunity has become available within the Content and Marketing Team at ProChance Football Club.
We are looking to recruit a Mens Digital Content Manager to be a part of a hard-working team, responsible for the day-to-day running of the club’s official social media channels and website.
This includes driving follower and engagement growth on the club’s men’s, women’s and academy social media platforms, assisting in delivering consistent best-in-class management of the channels and identifying opportunities to support revenue income for the club’s commercial departments.
You will play a key role in working with the elements of ProChance Football Club to ensure all planned content is posted on the relevant social media channels and website ensuring content is optimised for the platform and its audience.
You will also assist the implementation of the club’s tone of voice across all platforms, sharing ideas on engaging content that stands out from the crowd.
You will be comfortable demonstrating a versatile range of applicable skills, from excellent and accurate copywriting to competent image and video editing.
In addition, you’ll attend and report on men’s first-team, academy and occasional women’s first-team matches, delivering best practice and collaborative working at all times to ensure industry- leading output.
The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, be enthusiastic and hardworking and be flexible to the requirements of the position and the business.
Applicants should ideally live locally to Watford or the surrounding areas, and be a UK resident or non-UK resident with a valid UK work permit.
You must have:
• Experience planning, producing and posting social media content on multiple channels, ranging from text or image-led posts through to short-form vertical video
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Experience of working with key image & video editing software, in
particular Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro
• Availability to work match days (including pre- & post-match and evenings) for both home and away games, as well as other club events that may fall outside normal working hours
• Full UK driving licence or ability to travel to various locations due to the demands of the role
• Understanding of the club’s commitment to image rights, welfare and safeguarding
You would ideally have, but not vital:
• Experience of working with professional footballers or elite sportspeople
• Experience in delivering a consistent tone of voice for a brand
• Experience of using digital data platforms to monitor and analyse
performance
• Experience of sports and/or studio photography
