Job Description:
We are seeking ambitious, driven candidates to join our dynamic and collaborative division as a Counter-Fraud File Handler. Our team is the largest and longest-established in the UK, dedicated to defeating dishonest motor claims and developing strategies to identify and prevent new risks. The role involves managing a caseload of suspected fraudulent insurance claims, working closely with claims handlers and legal professionals to achieve the best results in a commercially sound manner.
The responsibilities include following defined processes, applying forensic and analytical skills to evidence, and making timely decisions aligned with case strategies. The caseload covers various types of suspected fraud, including bogus passengers, staged accidents, induced accidents, low-speed impacts, late notifications, MIB claims, and linked crime.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage fraud cases from litigation to resolution.
* Review and analyze evidence throughout cases.
* Set and agree on case strategies with clients and legal teams.
* Identify litigation opportunities and complex cases.
* Maintain high client satisfaction and adhere to KPIs.
* Ensure accurate case management and compliance with procedures.
* Report to clients and liaise with involved parties.
* Achieve optimal litigation results and ensure procedural compliance.
* Delegate tasks and maintain case systems.
Working Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with an hour for lunch. Primary location is Bolton, Parklands Office, with at least one day per week in the office.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Experience in civil litigation or equivalent legal qualification (ILEX, LPC).
* Experience handling RTA claims, pre-litigated or litigated.
* Understanding of insurance litigation and CPR.
* Strong analytical, communication, and client care skills.
* Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
* Knowledge of billing systems and legal regulations.
