Located in Dungannon, Northern Ireland, this exciting role offers the chance to work within a multidisciplinary team at one of the UK’s largest Meat Processors. You will be instrumental in launching new products successfully, efficiently, and safely, supporting our growth and expansion across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities
* Manage the NPD process to ensure successful, efficient, and timely product launches in line with customer standards and stakeholder expectations.
* Develop strong relationships with customers and key personnel.
* Collaborate with Development Chefs and the Commercial Team to co-own and approve product concepts.
* Scale up product concepts in the factory for presentation to customers.
* Ensure food safety, quality, and legality of all new and modified products.
* Maintain records of NPD activities for audit compliance.
* Engage with food trends and innovation, collaborating with marketing and customers.
* Work on process improvements, new machinery, and R&D projects.
* Liaise with suppliers, third parties, and external providers.
* Coordinate with internal teams to develop and deliver food-safe, compliant products.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in product development.
* Higher education qualification in Food Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
* Understanding of foodservice and retail customer operations, including UK retailers.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
* Knowledge of food science and manufacturing processes.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Willingness to expand knowledge beyond core experience.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the UK.
