£440 - £460 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This Primary School in Gateshead (NE11) is currently seeking a Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from April 2026. The Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant appointed for the role will be working mainly across classes in KS2 to provide interventions in core subjects. This will involve working with pupils of all abilities, supporting them with making progress. This is a ‘Good’ school, where pupils enjoy coming to school and feel supported in their learning.
Requirements
The desired Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
