The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pumps Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Grimsby. Working across a range of industrial sectors, the successful candidate will support the maintenance, repair, overhaul, installation, and commissioning of industrial pump systems and associated rotating equipment.
This role offers a varied workload across both workshop and customer site environments, with opportunities for overtime and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out fault finding, servicing, repair, and overhaul of industrial pumps and associated equipment
* Perform alignment, balancing, vibration analysis, and condition assessments
* Support installation and commissioning activities on customer sites
* Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
* Produce service reports and technical recommendations
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and quality procedures
* Provide excellent customer service and technical support
* Work collaboratively with mechanical and electrical engineering teams

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Proven experience working on industrial pump systems and rotating equipment
* Mechanical engineering background with strong fault-finding capability
* Experience with bearings, seals, couplings, motors, and alignment techniques
* Knowledge of condition monitoring or vibration analysis would be advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving xsngvjr licence
* Flexibility to travel to customer sites when required
