• The project is upgrading the network to all Canadian retail and wealth branches circuits and telephony.
Candidate Value Proposition:
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a highly visible project working alongside of senior leaders (director level and higher). This is a large-scale national project that would allow the candidates to work with different stakeholders, including different vendors.
Typical Day in Role:
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Manage carrier circuit spend including budget forecasting, invoicing validation, billing disputes.
• Work with cross-functional internal teams and vendors to identify requirements, negotiate renewals, resolve discrepancies, and achieve cost savings.
• Maintain the financial database.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual operating budget
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with bank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within FI or Telecommunications
• Advanced skills with Excel (visual basics)
• 5+ years of experience with financial management and budgeting
• 5+ years of experience with Vendor Management
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Experience with telecommunications expense management tool (e.g. VeraSmart)
• MS Access experience
• MS office experience
• SQL experience
Soft Skills Required:
• Strong Communication skills
• Strong Analytical problem solving skills
Education:
• Post-secondary degree within business management or related field
Best VS. Average Candidate:
• The ideal candidate would have strong telecommunications experience.
