CLASS 2 SERVICE DELIVERY DRIVER – WIDNES
Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour
Hours: Morning or afternoon shift available
Hexagon Recruitment are seeking an experienced Class 2 Service Delivery Driver to join our client's busy team in Widnes. This is a physically active role working in the Waste & Recycling industry — perfect for drivers who enjoy being hands-on and working independently.
Key Duties
* Collect and exchange 240-litre wheelie bins containing food and catering waste
* Operate a tail lift to load and unload up to 4 full bins at a time, replacing with 4 emptied and cleaned bins.
* Return bins to site and offload waste into hoppers.
* Complete approximately 20–30 drops per day.
Shift Patterns
* AM Shift: Start time between 12 midnight and 4:00 am (dependent on route).
* PM Shift: 11:00 am start.
* Maximum of 10 hours per day.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 12 months Class 2 HGV driving experience
* Proven multi-drop delivery experience.
* Comfortable working in environments with strong odours.
* Physically fit to manually move heavy wheelie bins.
