The Role: We are seeking an experienced and resilient Registered Manager to take responsibility for a children’s residential home in the East Midlands. You will lead the setup, compliance, and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care in line with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards. This is a key leadership role that requires strong safeguarding knowledge, excellent people management skills, and a passion for child-centred, therapeutic care. Key Responsibilities: * Fulfil all duties of a Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and statutory regulations * Lead daily operations including care planning, safeguarding, health & safety, and quality standards * Recruit, supervise, and develop a motivated staff team, promoting a positive culture * Ensure care plans reflect the social, emotional, educational, cultural, and therapeutic needs of each child * Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring effective safeguarding procedures * Manage resources, budgets, and staffing levels effectively * Build strong partnerships with families, local authorities, education providers, and healthcare professionals Requirements: * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) * Minimum 5 years’ residential childcare experience, with at least 2 years in a management role * Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulations, and Ofsted frameworks * Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff teams * Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making skills * Resilience, emotional intelligence, and commitment to child-centred care This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Registered Manager to join a highly regarded provider with a strong reputation for quality care.
