Pure is working exclusively with a growing Logistics organisation that is looking for a Manifest Administrator.
The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and be extremely well-organised. Having excellent clerical skills, the Manifest Clerk will deal with customers and internal staff via telephone and email on a daily basis.
The role involves accurately inputting data from large quantities of paper files to create shipment folders and customs clearance files, which will be distributed according to business and customer-specific requirements. This position may involve work abroad.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Process Manifest documentation in line with system and customer requirements
2. Ensure vessel schedules are updated within the business systems
3. Contribute to customer care and key account management (enquiries, requests, calls, etc.) to achieve successful outcomes
4. Maintain customer records, including creating new ones in line with business processes and in collaboration with other departments
5. Collate and file manifest files and folders according to business requirements
6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues that may arise
7. Answer customer calls and manage enquiries to a successful conclusion
Main Skills:
* Excellent Customer Service skills
* Highly organised
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages
* Experience in the logistics industry is a plus
* Knowledge of Excel
* Data inputting and spreadsheet management
* Excellent attention to detail
